Love having a coffee and pie here and scones to take home

Really expensive for the quality. Nothing above the standard roadside deli fare in terms of pies. I tried the mushroom last time and got a very average very crusty experience. For a lower price I could get two pies from coles to cook in my oven that taste better and are fresher. my partner went with the advertised best plain beef pie to find that it was no different from any other we'd had except the big price. Do all these places just buy it in from the same place??? I also tried the caramel slice and that was nice if pricy, but my partner had a jam cream donut that was nowhere near fresh and was tough to even tear. The lovely lady working was happy to replace his donut but i get the feeling it isnt uncommon. its not just a mistake that the CREAM donuts are clearly a day or 2 old and being sold full price. I was going to try some of their bread, but at over $4 for a loaf of what looked like supermarket sandwhich slice I decided against, fearing the cost of the more premium loafs The plus side is the coffee was pretty good for the price the service is quick all the tables were clean and the staff are lovely. My partner said when he came here a few years ago it was better. For the owners sake I hope we caught them on an bad day but the plain nickel and diming they are doing makes me think perhaps I will give this one a miss from now on -Les

Pies are so ****** expensive now. I mean, they're not even fresh. I use to love them so much but it's just too expensive now. Plus, it was the only thing i had this morning and now i've got the runs.

Love coming here. Everything is homemade. Their beef pies are to die for not to mention all the amazing pasty goodies they have. If your in the area you really must have a bite to eat.
