China Max - Hagerstown

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had! It should be thrown in the trash. I demand a refund of my $19.00!

We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and were very let down. Our order for two people consisted of baked fried rice with a sweet and tangy sauce, a vegetarian egg roll with sweet and sour sauce, and a serving of cheese biscuits also accompanied by sweet and sour sauce. The food was bland and poorly executed. The sweet and sour sauce was overwhelmingly sweet (almost made us nauseous), and they gave us an additional container of even sweeter and tangier sauce which we ended up giving to my partner.

This restaurant is a fantastic family-owned business! The Bourbon chicken is absolutely delicious and the staff are always very friendly. In addition, they offer a discount on sodas for employees from nearby outlets.

They offer a great range of fresh food. I love dining here. Staff members are always super nice, rates are convenient and the spot is always neat.

Drove an hour away just to get their burbon chicken if that tells you anything!
