Abu Marun Hummus - Haifa

My favorite hummus in haifa, hands down. Don't forget to order the fries with the garlic!

What a delicious hummus do they prepare here. I had the hummus with lamb, and garlic fries. People said it's one of the best in Israël, and I had one of the best before in Jerusalem, so comparing to that one... I can't choose, they are both very good. This is a street food restaurant in a neighborhood where Arabic and western people life together.

Very good hummus, mildly seasoned, served cold. The mashawsha is also served lukewarm, which is a bit disappointing for me, as I like it warm. Seems like they use real olive oil which is not to be taken for granted lately, and it all comes with a generous plate of pickles on the side, and more pita bread than you can handle.

One of the best hummus in Haifa places that really deserves its title. When we have guests from out of town, that 's the hummus we 'll have. Also they make their own fries, and that 's a rarity nowadays.
