First Wok Chinese - Haines City

I had a big gluten-free lunch of shrimps with mixed vegetables and egg drops of soup. I asked for white sauce, white rice and no soy sauce and I had no reaction, so this is my new lunch place. She was very happy about my request for gluten-free and has not included anything in the bag like lucky cookies or noodles. She was very accommodating that I am gluten-free. It was all very fresh and tasty. Thanks First Wok!

It's a great place! The food is delicious, and I didn't have to wait long at all.

As a New Yorker, I can confidently say that this restaurant comes close to the quality of food I'm accustomed to. The chef is consistent, and the dishes are always fresh and of high quality. Their shrimp and lobster sauce is unique in that it’s thick and prepared just as it should be. While the restaurant itself is quite old and not very fancy, the food absolutely makes up for it. It's far superior to any standard takeout options within a 30-mile radius.

We had a wonderful dining experience at First Wok! The staff greeted us with warmth as soon as we entered, and the food was delicious. Unlike some Chinese restaurants, the sweet and sour dishes actually contained real meat instead of being mostly breaded. The meat was tender and easy to chew, and the flavors were exquisite. We can't wait to return!
