かっ Píng Shòu し Hakone Kappei

A small eatery by the roadside with around 3-4 parking spaces next to it. We had a nigitoro don, sashimi and grilled fish. Food were good and reasonably priced.

Small sushi shop run by a couple. Delicious nigiri set lunch after visiting Hakone Open Air Museum. Cash only. The set pictured was about ¥3500.

Solid little sushi place near the Hakone Open Air Museum. I got the Anago don and it was quite good. I also tried some of the nigiri my partner got and it was high quality.

Delightful sushi place, the negitoro don was delicious and well-priced (1050 JPY). Loved the amberjack and inari sushi too. Staff were kind and the chef speaks English. They have an English menu too. Btw the opening hours are stated as 11am-8pm but they were sold out around 6pm (we arrived at 5.15pm). I believe they’re closed on Thursdays too. Cash only.

Great sushi sashimi spot for lunch, directly between the nearest train station and the Hakone Open Air Museum. English menu. Good portions, great quality fish for the location price ¥4300 for two total). Recommend the tuna rice bowl, edamame, and tuna salmon sushi we got!
