I visited the restaurant for the first time in January 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they were limiting the store to a maximum of four customers at a time. I ordered an Italian lemon cake ($4.50) and a chocolate eclair ($4.50), and both were delicious! The chocolate eclair had just the right amount of cream, and the lemon cake was incredibly soft. Just a heads up— they do charge for bags, so it's a good idea to bring your own reusable shopping bag if you can.

Best pumpkin cake in HMB. All year round, but a big autumn favorite around the annual pumpkin festival, which was captivated in 2020 due to Covid 19. Nevertheless, it is still made with the same quality and taste.

I decorated my cottage casita , Hacienda Halloween , purchased full box size Hot Tamales candy for trick-or-treaters to coordinate with the theme. At the last minute got the idea to get Mexican skeleton cookies, called around and found at Half Moon Bakery. The 6 gingerbread style shortbread cookies were beautiful and kindly individually wrapped. I put the cookie box out w/the candy. Not one trick-or-treater (all ages) took the candy, every cookie but one was gone, leaving it for me to sample. Not only were they artistically attractive, delicious. So glad you put your bakery sticker on the back of each cookie, I want every recipient to know where they came from.

This is my favorite bakery in half moon bay, It's so sweet and well located.
