Írjon visszajelzéstAs we looked around, we saw other customers clearing off tables to find a place to sit and helping themselves to menus. Next to us, a couple was informed by another waiter that their food would take at least 45 minutes due to a backup in the kitchen. At this point, we had already been waiting for an hour and a half, still without drinks and clueless about what was happening. Feeling frustrated, we approached the counter to talk to our waitress, expressing that the situation was ridiculous and that we were about to leave. She merely shrugged and said, "Oh well." That was the final straw for us. We decided to leave and went across the street to Subway, where we got food and drinks within twenty minutes, all without spending much. We calculated what our meal would have cost at the Haliburton Family Restaurant—around $74 before taxes—while our total at Subway was about half that, including a $3.60 tip. At least Subway provides decent service, regardless of the tourism crowd. The Haliburton Family Restaurant is now off our list for future visits. I think the only reason people go there is that the Kozy Korner is usually busy, or tourists mistakenly believe it’s a good spot… until they have an experience like ours.
The food was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. I would definitely like to return!
