Dairy Queen - Halifax

We recently visited a Dairy Queen on the advice of a friend who recommended trying one of their dollar meals. My wife and I were impressed with the fast food meal, good portions, prepared after you ordered and delivered to your table, the clean, comfortable surroundings and happy, polite staff. We thought initially this was a unique experience and was just an especially well run franchise. I later tried the DQ at Bayers lake in Halifax and the DQ in New Glasgow NS on the Westville Road with the same experience - good, fast food, clean, and excellent service all at a reasonable cost. Well done DQ for establishing high standards and delivering.

Dairy Queen has good affordable food. I get the $6 meal deal that gives me a cheese burger, fries and pop. Plus included is a small sundae. Great for someone on a budget.

The chicken finger meal was okay but the fries tasted re-fried and the sundae had hardly any hot fudge on it - the chicken fingers were very good though.

Oh DQSo dangerous__Every once in a while I get a craving for a calorie-laden ice-creamy treat.

There is nothing like an ice-cream from Dairy Queen.__We love the Sundae's (chocolate is my favorite.)
