This restaurant offers the best Philly cheesesteaks, and their wings are fantastic too! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, as this isn't your typical fast food spot. I assure you, the wait is definitely worth it. Just give them a call after placing your order. It's the best approach! The staff works really hard, so don't forget to tip them a bit.
The restaurant has a cozy, budget-friendly vibe, featuring several painted wooden tables and some long communal tables that stretch across the room. The outdoor seating was mostly full, and the enticing aromas of grilled wings, fries, and burgers filled the air. I had already arrived with cravings for a Philly cheesesteak. At the counter, I decided on the Philly Steak Wings Combo, which includes the sandwich and a choice of six wings—grilled in my case. The wings could be ordered in various styles: buffalo (very mild, mild, medium, hot, and extra hot), lemon pepper, or teriyaki. The combo also comes with celery, ranch dressing, and a drink. Wanting to make the meal even more special, I added a large order of fries for an additional four dollars. After about ten minutes, my number was called. The cheesesteak was everything I had hoped for, packed with thinly sliced beef and topped with cheese. The wings were equally impressive, coated in a barbecue sauce that struck a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The small portions of celery and ranch dressing complemented the meal well. My only regret was eating it at the restaurant instead of taking it home. The steam made the fries slightly soggy by the time I got home, but that was my fault. They were still delicious in their own right. The same went for the fries; I think if I had eaten them right away, they would have been even better, but they were still tasty when I got home, albeit not as crispy. I managed to finish the cheesesteak, two wings, and about a third of the fries—I definitely had plenty! I plan to reheat the wings and fries in the oven tomorrow for another satisfying meal. Contrary to what other reviews said, I didn't notice any unpleasant odors in the restaurant; it seemed clean and well taken care of without issues. Parking was straightforward, although spaces were somewhat limited. I definitely want to return to try their burgers, which seem to be a hidden gem on the menu. I'm inclined to believe that everything on the menu will be excellent. Maybe A D stands for Amazing and Delicious! That wouldn't surprise me at all.
Love it. Everytime we are near it we have to sit down for some phillys! great spot to eat!
Great for carry out. The food is great. But be sure to get it to go. The smell from the sewer problem can ruin the meal. They've had the same problem since they opened. Griffs Hamburgers has it too, but good food.
