El Tejas - Haltom City

Seen a lot of reviews for bad service but our experience was overwhelmingly good. The waitress was nice and attentive. Food and drinks were well flavored. I would recommend the pozole. We came in as a party of four with no wait and there was a decent amount of people already seated. Would recommend and will be going back again.

While I absolutely LOVE their food, they get our to-go orders wrong 75% of the time. Their staff is always very nice. We have had outstanding service inside. I no longer place orders over the phone... only inside and then wait on it. Never takes too long.

Went in for a graduation dinner and everything went well, food was reasonably priced and pretty tasty. The issue came when it came to pay. Bills were separated and my total came to $58.62 then they said the system went down and they needed my receipt back. Before leaving they said issue was clear but needed to retain receipt to confirm all was well at closing. Today my charges are $70 and the Resteraunt isn’t answering. Now I have to drive back over there 45 minutes away. Not sure I will be returning.

I had the most amazing service here today. The lady was super sweet. And the pastor was some of the best I ever had. This Mexican restaurant is now on my list of go-to's.Food: 5/5
