The Cafe - Haltom City

Fast friendly service. Non-smoker. My family has been here for 25 years. It is definitely a nostalgic place to dine. There is the old pastime experience. Prices are extremely cost-effective. This is a great place for the whole family.

Hamburgers are awesome! Best meat I've ever eaten. Lunchtime specials are excellent. Be patient when they're real busy. Especially on Sunday.

This is a small town Cafe with retro decor 1960's. The establishment appeared clean. There was only 1 server but it was about 8am on a Wednesday. The server seemed familiar with some of the customers like they come in on a regular basis. There is a basic breakfast available for $6.99. I spoke with the cook who stepped out for a moment. He stated he fixes a lot of omlets recommended the texmex omlet. Ordered 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, hash browns, biscuits gravy. It wasn't exceptional but was good. Bacon done but not crunchy, hash browns crunchy around edge soft in middle, biscuits soft. Good, filling breakfast. Would recommend.

I don't frequently stop by here, despite passing through Haltom City multiple times. However, my visits have been enjoyable. I had a delicious, hearty meal, and the waitress was incredibly sweet and friendly. I can't wait to return next time!
