Star Moon - Halton

I believe Star Moon has recently changed ownership. This was my second visit and I was disappointed with the lack of meat in my meal. The pieces were diced so small that they were barely visible, and I only found one prawn. Overall, I was not satisfied with the experience and do not plan on returning.

I was hesitant to try Star Moon based on the reviews, but I'm glad I did. My husband and I ordered Chinese meals and were impressed with the quality. The next day, we ordered a variety of dishes for my Birthday celebration with family and everyone loved the perfectly cooked meals. Star Moon is now our favorite Chinese restaurant, with great customer service, clean premises, and good value. Thank you, Star Moon Widnes!

Shame a 2 hr wait for delivery, and bad poor apology, had to ring to chase up couldn’t locate order? Then said it was with the driver? More waiting time in total 2.5hrs wait is not acceptable for any fast food outlet and should at least offer good will gesture. Staff didn’t seem to bothered.

What’s gone wrong here had a lot of meals from here and always very satisfied, tonight we thought we would treat ourselves to what we thought was going to be very enjoyable but to our dismay it was totally inedible,when it arrived it was only lukewarm the salt pepper ribs tasted of curry and the ribs was tiny bits and very fatty my husband ordered fish chips mushy peas the chips was awful and the peas was very hard they wasn’t mushy like thought the chow mien was bland so everything went in the bin won’t be having anymore star moon meals the quality has really gone downhill, if you want a nice Chinese meal order from Chinese restaurant like chi na garden best food ; we’ve lost all faith in star moon
