Fell upon this pub whilst in Haltwhistle looking for something to eat. Nearly drove past it but so glad we didn't. Four of us had Sunday lunch which was amazing. On to dessert and they had run out of cream. Bar staff ran to the corner shop to buy some! We were all flabbergasted! Level of service is second to none. Food great. Thanked our lucky stars we are moving there soon. We'll be regulars! Fantastic. Service: 5 Location: 5

Great hotel and restaurant in Haltwhistle. Beautiful building in the heart of the city center which also happens to be the center of Britain. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The restaurant inside the hotel is wonderful with great dishes every night and complimentary freshly made breakfast. The rooms have everything you'd want in a hotel room and a great staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone coming to the area for Haidens wall or any of the other reasons to come to this remote gem!
