Fleetschlosschen - Hamburg

I stopped in this restaurant for a quick lunch, the restaurant is small and at the time was quite full. My food was lovely, a proper and delicious salad. It did go very well with couple of Jever beers. I was served by a beautiful and young waitress and had a chance to train my conversational German. Lovely visit...

As the breakfast in a nearby hotel was not included in the price of the room, I went to this tiny and lovely Cafe for a nice german breakfast. Tea, orange juice, ham, salami, bread, butter and jam... and when you think you're done... a charming young lady brings you a boiled egg! Don't miss it, at sun rise or sun set. It's worth it and very typical as the building is very old and charming.

Passed by on our way from the U4 station. Decided to go in for a drink to get out of the rain. Small, but good selection of drinks Inc hot drinks. Reasonable prices. Toilets up a spiral staircase.

This is a very small and friendly bar. Very small. Bathrooms upstairs. Nice place to sit and relax after walking for hours. reasonable drink prices and menus in English and German. Enjoy Hamburg and this quaint location.

Have visited this place several times and always enjoy my staple of matjes with a local beer. Bring friends here too, all the time, and they always enjoy its quirky historic charm. Staff are friendly, food is good (menu is very tiny) and reasonably priced. Very limited in space so its usually a gamble if you manage to get a table...but worth popping by and trying your luck!
