Szechuan Noodle Bowl (Hamilton)

The food at this restaurant was fantastic and incredibly flavorful. I ordered the vermicelli ground pork dish and the sauce/soup was absolutely delicious. The portions were quite generous for the price, in fact, I couldn't even finish the medium size portion I ordered! However, I was disappointed with the service provided by the waitress. She never came to check on us after serving our food, even when we ran out of water halfway through our meal. Despite walking past our table multiple times after we had finished eating and needed take away containers, she seemed more interested in sitting in the back texting on her phone. I don't mind if she texts, but it would have been more professional to do so away from customers.

I loved this restaurant. I have been here several times and I always try something new each visit. I highly recommend ordering the Dan Dan noodles. I suggest coming with a group of friends so you can try a variety of dishes, family-style.

After a glowing recommendation from a friend, we decided to give this place a try. And we were not disappointed. We both ordered the homemade spinach noodle bowl, with spicy ground pork for me and not too spicy chicken for my wife. The portions were generous, but we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We will definitely be returning to A6 for what is undoubtedly the finest elevated Chinese cuisine in Hamilton.

A great place to get Sichuan style food and it never disappoints. When you eat in everything is always fresh and made to order. The portions (especially the noodles) are significant and the cost is very reasonable. The broth is really good.We decided to grab some take out for the first time today, and I was equally impressed with everything when we got home. Everything was amazing and consistent. I have no reservations about grabbing some takeout noodles on my lunch break.Vegetarian options: Anything of the noodle options can be ordered without meat.Kid-friendliness: Its a very friendly, peaceful non-intimidating environment.Parking: The best place to park is on the street right in front of the restaurant. These are metered parking spots but the are also municipal parking lots in the immediate area.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair and walker friendly entrance.

The size of the bowl for the price was well worth it. The broth was delicious and full of flavour! I got the machine made noodles with beef and I literally left nothing in the bowl.I gave it three stars for atmosphere but I don’t mean that in a bad way it’s not the kind of place I go to looking for some amazing atmosphere. It’s just no frills delicious food plain and simple. Really look forward to trying other dishes!
