Briarwood Deli - Hamilton

This deli is fantastic! They serve "Fat Sandwiches" reminiscent of those you’d find at Rutgers or Grease Trucks. It’s a great local spot.

I visited this restaurant for the first time because they offer Boar's Head cold cuts. I ordered "spiced ham" but received regular ham instead. I also requested yellow American cheese, but was given white American cheese. If they don't have what I asked for, they should have let me know rather than just substituting it without confirmation. Additionally, it's baffling how they can cut cheese without placing wax paper between the slices. What I ended up with is a big block of cheese that’s nearly impossible to separate. To top it all off, the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed to have a customer around 1 PM, even though their website states they close at 2 PM. I can understand if it was right before closing time, but an hour before shouldn't be an issue. Looks like I’ll have to keep traveling all the way to New York for decent cold cuts.

I visited Briarwood Deli for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The staff was very courteous, and both breakfast and lunch were delicious. It was definitely worth the trip!

Great place and delicious food. I love coming here for your typical quick bacon egg and cheese breakfast before work and get the lotto. Very homie spot and friendly staff. Definitely recommend it

The owner was very nice. Nice place to stop and get something or anything Loved it.
