M R's - Hamlin

I had the burger and stuffed mushrooms. A friend got the special (chicken and dumplings) they loaded her plate down and she offered me some when she seen what they gave her. I don’t really like chicken and dumplings but M and R has the best I’ve had hands down. GREAT FOOD

The food was ok, not great. The service was lacking. The prices are low.

We consistently enjoy delicious food here, and it’s wonderful to have a genuine family-owned restaurant nearby.

We had an early dinner today at M&R. Unfortunately, we didn't make it by 3 PM to try the daily special of Turkey and Dressing. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and dumplings—they were delicious! The service was also very friendly and efficient.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the grilled chicken dinner, which was amazing. My aunt ordered chicken dumplings along with mashed potatoes and green beans, and she said they were delicious. My uncle had meatloaf with coleslaw and sweet potato waffle fries; he mentioned that the meatloaf was perfectly cut and "stuck to his ribs," whatever that means—he is 70, after all. Overall, great food! I will definitely be returning.
