Írjon visszajelzéstMy experience at Port City Java was quite positive, and the breakfast was exceptional. However, I did notice some concerns regarding the staff dynamics. There were two seasoned employees and a new young man who seemed to be under a lot of pressure. The more experienced staff appeared to be quite pushy with him at times, bordering on aggressive, despite his efforts to learn the job. When I placed my order, he looked visibly nervous and it seemed like the other employees were adding to his stress. If this continues, I worry he may decide to leave. Adapting to a new role takes time and experience, and if he feels mistreated, it could discourage him from wanting to stay. I believe his name was Dylan, though I'm not entirely certain. He was very polite and eager to help. It's important for him to be treated well, as this would benefit both him and the establishment. I encourage the staff to foster a more supportive environment for newer employees instead of overwhelming them. Thank you.
The coffee was weak, and there were no sugar packets or stirrers available. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed.
My husband and I were excited to visit this charming little café because I'm a huge coffee lover. However, my husband has a nut allergy, so we asked the friendly staff member to check the croissant ingredients for any nuts. We overheard her asking her manager, and the response we heard was, "Just tell them we’re out." The manager then approached us in a very rude manner, stating that they don’t have croissants. It was clear she didn’t want to take the time to look at the ingredients for us. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially when it comes to someone’s serious allergy. It’s frustrating to see how a few seconds of effort for a customer's safety was so easily dismissed. I wish I could give this place zero stars.
Most companies want people to buy their product, but I feel like they're super crazy that I'm here at all. I would suggest going a little further on the road to Porters Neck location, they have great customer service, always getting my order right and are quick.
Quiet vibe, but nothing special. Doesn?t feel like the indie coffee shop feel they were going for. Beans are roasted elsewhere and already brewed?you won?t find pour over or exotic roasts if that?s what you?re looking for.
