El Azteca - Hampton

My friend had nachos and she was happy with the taste and quantity. She was unhappy with the way the protein was Thrown on the chips. My meal was terrible. I ordered a taco salad with beef. First off, the chip bowl was Burnt. Secondly, there was hardly ANY food in the bowl. Thirdly, there was No seasoning on my food, didn't even taste any Latin seasoning At All, very disappointed. Fourthly, the meat tasted like it was purchased from 7-Eleven or Dollar Tree, not Happy at

The server was kind but my Carne asada tasted very off... the steak was chewy and tough, not seasoned and had a funky taste like the meat had gone bad and they cooked it anyway.. I have no clue what others are talking about good food coming from this place. The guacamole and salsa are both store bought and low quality. I can make better Mexican food at home myself for much cheaper and I will at least know I'm not being poisoned by bad steak.

This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't expect such a nice place in a shopping strip. The service was excellent, the food was good, and it has great atmosphere. I will definitely go back.

Great place awesome service.... got there right before closing. After a long day at the beach we needed a great meal.

Ordered the Texas fajitas and for some reason it didn't come with rice like most other businesses do. So I had to order a side of rice with my fajitas. Service was decent, food was very hot and seemed fresh. I'll probably go back sometime in the future but not sure. And they didn't have beer on tap that i liked which is a big deal to me because I love beer on tap!
