Írjon visszajelzéstI have been visiting the UP for 8-9 years and always get a pasty because it’s the thing to do. I sometimes wonder why people like these dried out, bland tasting meat canned veggies that are shoved into a pie crust! I decided to try somewhere new and my bf spotted Amy Js while we were on our way to a different place with excellent reviews. We ordered one large pasty and two farmers cookies. With out high hopes my boyfriend cut it in half and I immediately noticed the difference! It looked fresh! Real potatoes, real carrots, the meat looked perfect.. we took a bite at the same time and both said mmmm ! I was in shock and so was he! This far exceeded our expectations as the countless times I’ve had bad experiences! I went in and ordered 4 more to go for my freezer and a dozen farmers cookies! I complimented the well dressed older gentleman and was on my way! I believe this shop has changed my mind about pasty’s! It’s honestly about the ingredients! The customer service was top notch as well! They made me a believer that all pasty’s are not created equal! Give them a try!
I am ruined! This is thee best pasty from the crust to the generous filling!
Stopped here as a spur of the moment decision while driving by. I had never had an Amy Js pasty before and always wanted to try one. What a delicious surprise, turned out to be one of the best pasties I've purchased hot and ready to eat up here in the Copper Country! A very cute red and white exterior located right along the hwy leaving Hancock going up the hill towards Calumet. No carrots in these but had rutabaga and even though I prefer carrots I enjoyed them just as much. Great job Amy J, this is another must stop on my trips back home.
Vegan pasties were the best I've ever had! Fresh potatoes and carrots, great seasoning. We will be coming back. Highly recommend!
Delicious pasty! Delicious everything... the lemon blueberry cookies I dream about, her cinnamon rolls are the best, with lots of cinnamon! Super friendly shop! Buy extra for your freezer.... it’s so disappointing when you eat the last bite and you live 500 miles away and can’t buy more till next time your in town.
