Gino's Cocktail Lounge - Hancock

We loved this place. Unfortunately, food and service have gone downhill. After working in the industry, I understand that ppl are short handmade, but we were not greeted with as much as a smile for the first 15 minutes after sitting. I asked about our waiter screaming and immediately regrets speaking. Our drinks made it to us after another 10 minutes. Then for the next 45 minutes our waiter didn't even return to check us out, and we wanted to be too late for a show we visited, so we had to demand that our food be boxed immediately as soon as we finally got it an hour after sitting. And then my husband and I got food poisoning at night. I have asked Ginos to ask for at least one refund for bad service and free food disease, but never get an answer.

I got the copper club, it was good. Can't go wrong with a sandwich. Tryed the cauliflower so delicious. Outside the food is cozy when it is nice outside, but once caught in the rain. In food, I had to deal with flies, it depends only on the time of the year you go. Servers were good. I used to be here when it was another owner and it was terrible. Bad food and dry atmosphere. So glad they definitely fixed the place something I would go back.

It took a half hour to get our appetizer and about an hour for the pizza, and the place was not packed. I was not impressed solely due to the timeline. We had the p-za rolls appetizer and the bianca pizza. Food was good. The marinara sauce that went with the rolls tasted like it was out of a can. The pizza had thin crispy crust and tasted good. I had an old fashioned- it was made with sugar (instead of simple syrup) so it was gritty at the bottom of the drink and they added some carbonated beverage, which is disappointing since that's not how our waitress said it'd be made. I will not go there again due to the amount of time it took to get our food.

We stoped in for an afternoon cocktail. To our delight it was during their happy hour. We decided to sit outside on their patio. The inside also look inviting. The drinks were good. My wife had a Patina Splash Patio Pail. She loved it. I had a draft beer. It was cold and hit the spot. The food menue look appetizing but we had just ate before we went there. Sorry we didn?t eat here. The prices were great. The service was friendly and fast. I wish we found the spot earlier since we are leaving tomorrow.

Nice. We enjoyed our pizza. The atmosphere is different than it once was. It's bright and airy. You can sit at the bar or take a table. There is another dinning room that is quite large. Would like to return and try their lasagna.
