Great fish and chips. The fish was thick and the batter was beautiful not soggy or full of fat. The chips were cooked to perfection and so were the potato cakes. Great service and friendly staff.

Found the staff extremely friendly and generous with our massive family order on Friday. Order was over $100 and they threw in some free soft drinks . My plain burger with beetroot and cheese and an added potato cake was brilliant , potato cakes 5/5 , chips good, flake fresh but calamari fake rings . Would definitely return and recommend to others

I’ve been going to this fish and chip shop ever since I was little, and each time we have ordered food it was always at a good standard! The food is always consistent, it never repeats on me and is good value for money! I highly recommend the grilled flake as it taste so delicious

There are a lot of fish and chip places along the beach... but few do really tasty fish and chips. This place makes GREAT fish and chips. The fish is fresh and the batter is crunchy. If you reheat the next day it's still tasty. That's the hallmark of a good frying oil: lack of oxidation.<br/ <br/ Most places use hydrogenated vegetable oils full of trans fats which oxidise or form aldehydes (also bad for you when you heat them. Rosebud seafoods uses lard because saturated fats are much more heat stable, do not require hydrogenation (which creates trans fats and form about 200 times less aldehydes. This lack of harmful by products is why the food tastes so good.<br/ <br/ They have an excellent range of fish but flake is usually the safest fish to choose.<br/ <br/ Portions are generous and prices are modest $10 for fish, chips and tomato sauce.<br/ <br/ They have external seating if you would like to eat your food outdoors. The seagulls seem to know what's good because they're keen to frequent this establishment. Just throw a chip and see what happens? The local magpies also have a liking for the food and you'll often see them vying with the seagulls for a feed.<br/ <br/ Toilets (very convenient and the beach are just a hop skip and a jump away.<br/ <br/ They were also nice enough to grill my trout... which we caught at the local trout farm... and didn't charge. <br/ <br/ Nice owner... and competent staff.<br/ <br/ If only all fish and chip shops were this nice.<br/ <br/ :
