Please stop and read! Today my 71 year old grandmother decided to go for a drive up to Hardin Illinois and have some fried fish for dinner. On our way to Hardin we drove through Alton and Grafton two very busy places especially during the weekend. The beef brisket, pulled pork, and the massive smoked pork chop are all amazing, and the catfish is just as good. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Be sure to try the homemade pies before you leave. I often take a few slices home to enjoy later. I also occasionally place a to-go order so I can savor another meal at home.

Everything is smoked here—chicken, brisket, and pork steaks. The portions of the fish are generous, and the view of the river is fantastic.

Consistently enjoyable, regardless of what you choose from the menu. I've been dining here for years and have never been let down. It's also a fantastic spot if you're a fan of fresh fish from the Illinois River.
