Roosters' Hen House - Hardinsburg

Eat here for the first time and not a complaint. I had the Cod-Fish dinner and my stepdaughter finished ordering the honey dipped chicken, which I also tried and omg it was delicious. Two of us have the Carmel banana cake to take home dessert and one of us has the bread pudding. Portions were huge and we all had full happy belly. I think we found a new favorite place.

Really delicious food at incredible prices. We started with piping hot, crispy roasted green tomatoes, then onion leaves (excellent spices), breakfast bowl and Rooster Burger (Picky with horseradish). The burger was juicy and cooked for perfection, could only finish 1/4 of it. Had cake to go, many options.

Very country little place off road, but boy the breakfasts are wonderful, very inexpensive and staff is friendly. Also serve lunch and dinner. On St pat's day they had corned beef cabbage with 2 sides $7.39 I believe

Friendly staff and unlimited fish fry on Friday. The head waitress never misses a chance to crack a joke. Great, friendly, local place.
