And took great care of us on a busy Sunday when she was the only person working in the front of the house with several tables. The chef even came out to talk to us after we raved about the sausage. We will be back on our next trip to Harpers Ferry!
I highly recommend this restaurant. The lamb chops we delicious. Atmosphere in winter was very cozy with a fire going in the restaurant's fireplace.
We got into Harper's Ferry really late after driving all day to get there. We happened across this restaurant, and I'm so glad we did. The food was INCREDIBLE! The atmosphere was very quaint and charming, and the food was prepared perfectly. The plating was also beautiful. This was a wonderful way to start our weekend getaway.
My friends and I were masters when it was the canal house cafe before it became the bisou bistro in .., we wanted to see if it was as good as before. eating is too expensive, my dish was quite 2 doses mais, half a cup rice and a few garnel with some seasoned. all other foods came warm or cold, they had 1 waiter for the whole place at least 10 people when we went. the owner was more concerned about keeping a fire than helping the other person. our free desserts we got when we got out. were only combed muffins (as they were made to house) tasted like backnatron. it was just a bad experience, probably the worst I ever had in my life at any food place. in theory you could say mcdonald’s offers better service, and better food than the bisou bistro can be compared to the current.
My friends and I were regulars when it was the Canal House Cafe before it became the Bisou Bistro at .., We wanted to see if it was just as good as before. Well it wasn't, the food is way over priced, my dish was pretty much 2 cans of corn, a half a cup of rice and a few pieces of shrimp with some spices. Everyone else's food came out warm or cold, they had 1 waiter for entire place at least 10+ people when we went. The co-owner was more worried about keeping a fire than providing any assistance to the other staff. Our free desserts we got as we were walking out.. were just boxed muffins (saying they were home made) tasted like baking soda. It was just an overall bad experience, probably the worst I've ever had in my life at any food place. In theory you could say, McDonald's provides better service, and better food than the Bisou Bistro can as of current.
