Nance's Seafood Shanty - Harpswell

What a charming little roadside snack shack! The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. We tried the lobster roll and onion rings, both of which were excellent. They even have a small sandbox picnic table for the kids, which our 3-year-old really enjoyed! It's definitely worth a visit on your way to Harpswell!

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant! We ordered the shrimp basket and the lobster roll. The smaller shrimp were particularly delightful; the batter was light and perfectly seasoned.

This place serves some of the best fast seafood I've ever tasted. My favorites are the fried clams and crab rolls, and the sweet potato fries are fantastic as well. Be sure to bring cash and check her hours if you're planning a trip just for this restaurant.

We landed here on accident and thank goodness we did!! Upon arrival four different people approached us to say the food here is incredible isnt it!?! When we explained it was our first time they responded with comments like you made the right choice! And did we ever! The lobster roll was fantastic the clam roll was equally as wonderful. We ordered 2 clam cakes and they were cooked perfectly with nig chuncks of clam and extremely flavorful. The french fried were good/average and upon suggestion we ordered onion rings. Hands down the best ive ever eaten along with everything else. The owner/chef was extremely kind and appreciative of our business. I will absolutely be back every summer.

Classic Maine lobster roll, delicious, fresh and flavorful. Mixed with the perfect amount of mayo and served on a golden toasted butter roll, it's a little slice of heaven.
