Federal Taphouse - Harrisburg

Service was good. Food was okay (needed seasoning).

Not what I expected. It's not like the upscale one that was in Lancaster.

Thank you for accidently letting me taste the bison burger! I now know it isn't my thing, but it could be someone else's thing. Location is a short stroll from I guess the back side of capitol building, so thank you for suggesting going to see fountain...(I do not recall bartender's name)

Horrible place. We made a reservation a week before for 30 people. Everyone seemed bothered or annoyed that we were there. We asked the bartender for recommendations on beers and she said I can 't tell you what to drink, you should know one bald guy told our kids to sit down in a rude manner and another waiter took a toy away from another kid. Really, really poor customer service. Food was below average, they ask you how you want your burgers or steak cooked but everything arrived well done.

The beer and cider were great. Food was typical bar and fried. Not great but standard pub. Service was really bad...don't know if long day but didn't feel welcome which was too bad as it was our 1st impression of Harrisburg.
