Írjon visszajelzéstWe opted for the early bird menu (available before 6:00 PM), which was limited but offered more reasonable prices. I chose the rotisserie chicken, paying extra for the gluten-free option and to substitute chicken for pork. It came with pan-fried potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a side of caraway, but the overall preparation was quite basic and lacking in flavor. The potatoes were decent but didn’t have the crispy texture I expect from pan-fried potatoes; instead, they were a bit soggy and had a heavy taste. The steamed vegetables were barely cooked, and while I prefer them on the firmer side rather than overcooked, they were just lukewarm and lacking freshness. The chicken itself wasn’t very good—it was almost reminiscent of cauliflower, with a sweet and delicate flavor that didn’t appeal to me. Others in my party had the schnitzel and the Bavarian meat dish. We all ordered from the early bird menu and felt relieved to have paid the $15 price instead of $25 from the regular menu, as I would have felt quite disappointed paying so much for the meal we received. The service was excellent, the food was adequate, and I didn’t experience any adverse reactions, but I can’t say I’d be eager to return. To be fair, German cuisine has never been my favorite, and there were many more appealing options on the regular menu. That said, I might consider giving it another chance.
We opted for the early bird menu (available before 6:00 PM), which was limited but offered more reasonable prices. I chose the Vienna schnitzel, but I had to pay an extra fee for gluten-free preparation and another surcharge to substitute chicken for pork. The dish came with "pan-fried" potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a type of cabbage slaw. Unfortunately, the Vienna schnitzel was quite basic and lacking in flavor. The potatoes were decent, but I expected pan-fried ones to be crispy, and instead, they were somewhat soggy and overwhelmingly flavored with onions. As for the steamed vegetables, they were barely cooked—more like raw and just slightly warmed. While I usually prefer my veggies on the undercooked side rather than overcooked, this was pushing it too far. The slaw was particularly unappealing; it resembled a sweet and slimy cabbage jam that did not suit my taste at all. Others in my party also tried the Vienna schnitzel and the Bavarian meatloaf. We all ordered from the early bird menu, and I was thankful that we paid around $15 for our meals instead of the $25 for the regular menu, as I would have been quite disappointed with the overall experience for that price. The service was excellent, the food was passable, and fortunately, I didn't get sick. However, I can't see myself returning. To be fair, I've never been a big fan of German cuisine, and while the regular menu had several options that looked more flavorful, I don’t think I’ll give it another chance.
The food was delicious, with plenty of options on the menu. The server was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and took it seriously. I would definitely return!
Delicious eating, many choices on the menu and server was very good over zöliakie and took it seriously. would definitely go back!
