Blue Stone Inn - Harrisonburg

The food is exquisite, and the ambiance is both warm and welcoming. Located just a few miles north of H'burg on US11, the Blue Stone Inn is a lovely family-run restaurant that offers dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. The service is attentive, and the menu boasts an impressive selection of seafood and steaks. It evokes the feeling of home-cooked meals but is taken to a whole new level. With its cozy, European pub-style atmosphere, it’s certainly worth the trip.

The food was outstanding! The service was even more impressive! The steak was perfectly cooked, and my wife really enjoyed the seafood.

Janet, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. Our server, Christine, remembered us as her very first customers from her first day at work in May 2021. Even though she has a full-time job elsewhere, Christine was cheerful, efficient, and kindly let me try two different wines to help me decide. She really moves quickly! The food and wine were both delicious and affordably priced.

June 2022 Back again for repeat performance...just as wonderful as last year! Tried and true! October 2021 Really enjoyed our meal. Delicious smoked trout. Potato baked to perfection! Great food, great service. Will return! Soft shell crab, stuffed mushrooms, sea scallops all awesome.

This place was the best meal I've had in a very long time! Staff was so wonderful! Food was out of this world! I had the shellfish combo, mushroom caps, oysters in the half shell, the dinner rolls and maple butter were so fire! Hush puppies were so good too!! Def will be back to this place when we come to the area again.
