Sunrise Chinese - Harrisonville

Sunrise in Harrisonville is very disappointing. The buffet often has empty trays, and the food is consistently old and cold. I've tried getting multiple plates, hoping they would refresh the food, but they never do. The staff is quite rude; I once got a plate of food that I ended up not eating, and a woman scolded me, saying it was a waste because the food is expensive and I should eat what I take. If the food were fresh, I would have gladly eaten it, but I refuse to pay for old and cold meals. I’ve waited for fresh food only to be let down—they really need to improve their service. Save your money and avoid this place; it truly is not worth it!

The gentleman working there asked us what we wanted to drink—an additional charge, unlike most buffets where drinks are included—but then he disappeared, leaving us without any refills on soft drinks or water. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The meal did not justify its price, both in terms of quality and service. For the same cost, we prefer to drive to other, better Chinese restaurants in the metropolitan area that offer fresher food, nicer service, and a more inviting atmosphere.
