Harry Stone's - Harriston

Stopped here after golf, for wrap and a beer. The Classic Wrap was a little bland, lacking in sauce. The beer was cold and good. Service is good, quick and friendly. Prices seem a little dear for this far away from the city.

I like the atmosphere and the staff were very attentive, the soup was very good.... there is a good choice of menu, but I would choose to sit nearer the back wall as it can be drafty up near the front door

This is a hidden gem. It was not there when I was growing up in Harriston. The food here is basically pub style - they make awesome pizza and we have never had a bad experience at Harry Stones. They have a little deck patio out the back door off the parking lot. Nice place to have your lunch if you have your dogs along. The management is people oriented and everyone there is really friendly. A pleasant and affordable meal break - especially if you are coming home from Port Elgin or anywhere that way where your cottage is. They have a bar which is across the hall from the restaurant but the menu is for both. Have a white for me if you are not the driver.

Service can be spotty depending on who is working and whether or not they're having a good day or a bad day. Especially in the kitchen or so it seemed.I have had wings, pizza, the taco salad, steak and the fish and chipsHere's what I think: loved the wings, the pizza was delicious but the homemade sauce did not agree with me, the taco salad is light but satisfying, the steak was too thin and dried out and the fish and chips were good.With regards to the prices: wing night on Wednesdays is a real deal, but other than that all the items on the menu are priced rather high in my opinion considering this establishment is more along the lines of a diner/pub than a fine dining experience.Okay place to eat if you don't have high expectations or standards; otherwise your better off grabbing a soup and sandwich at Tim Hortons

We called to order 2 panzarotti last night for pick up. We were told they were too busy to fulfill our order. Bad service.
