Alcona Brew Haus - Harrisville

Compared to other northern Michigan restaurants, the vegan options are great! There was a pizza option, pulled bbq jackfruit sandwich $14), and smoked tofu stir fry over rice entree $19). Beer options are great too not marked vegan or not).

So happy that we stumbled across the Alcona Brew Haus last year! We came for the beer, but were so pleasantly surprised by the food. The staff is exceedingly friendly and the food is great. Both times we have had the vegan pizza, but on our next trip will definitely try the vegan entree. We were totally shocked when we discovered they even had 2 vegan dessert options, both were very good. Thankful to have these vegan options is such an unexpected location (the farther you travel North in Michigan the further you usually get from vegan options).

Atmosphere is great. There's a treasure chest for kids to get a prize after their meal. Veg/vegan options are crafted with care instead of being an afterthought. Everything was top notch.

Welcoming and warm staff, cozy dining experience, and a great selection of beer and drinks. There's a vegan burger, pizza, and entree available.
