I planned to meet some friends for lunch at this restaurant today (Friday, May 17th at around 2pm), but the car park was full, as well as the road leading to it. Surprisingly, the restaurant itself was completely empty. It seems that there was an event at the nearby school causing the congestion. However, it would be better if they reserved some parking spaces for their paying customers. Disappointed, we ended up going to a pub in Sherfield On Loddon instead. Not a great experience!

The restaurant is conveniently located with plenty of seating divided into different areas, including an outdoor seating area. It's hard to fully assess the kitchen as we only tried some snacks, but they were tasty and served in generous portions. The place may be a bit outdated, but it's definitely worth a visit for a good country pub experience. The service was efficient, with drinks brought to our table promptly.

I recently had my first dinner at this charming country pub. The staff greeted us warmly and we ordered the fish and chips, steak and ale pie, and pork belly - all of which were beautifully presented and delicious. We ended our meal with sticky toffee pudding and fruit crumble, both of which were outstanding. Overall, it was a great value for a wonderful evening.

The staff at this lovely country pub were extremely friendly and welcoming, providing us with excellent service throughout the evening.

This country pub is perfect. They offer an impressive variety of well-maintained cask beers. The food is really good and the location is unbeatable. It is definitely the best pub for miles around.
