Dish Bar & Grill - Hartford

Before a game to dinner. very quiet. I loved the salmon and my husband had the steak special he really enjoyed. great server.

We went on a Saturday night before we watched eyre on the hardford stage. we were the only table seats in the dining room. it was date night for my partner and I really enjoyed the ambiente. it was all I expected for a night in the city. the service was excellent from beginning to end. I ordered the salmon and my partner ordered the baked stuffed shrimp. the menu selection is not great, but it meets all nutritional preferences. for dessert we ordered the warm apple tart and it was like eating the apple cake of her grandmother, only enough of everything and the vanilla ice cream sealed the deal. the courses were perfectly matched. our server was extremely attentive, friendly and warm. for mentioning that we went to the hardford stage, he gave us a discount. I would dinate here again when they go, pay them for the experience and that was worth it, I can't wait to get back on brunch!

The restaurant canceled our reservation on open table that I noticed when we came home and that was wrong. they did this, even though we showed up, sat and ate, but remained during our meal. obviously they did not want our rating or for me to credit for booking on open table. our server never gave us brot, took our bread-appetits-plates away before they gave us our salat and appetizers at the same time that led us to send back our appetizers because it was cold before we ate our meal times, the porkish were drastically undercooked. it seemed as if they just rushed through the meal I don't understand, as the place was empty. now I know why it was empty. service and eating were not good. very disappointed and I was even sharpened to get my email that they have canceled our reservation if they were not to. only a terrible experience.

Dish is a veritable gem in the heart of downtown Hartford. The service by Gary and the rest of the team was outstanding and the food beyond reproach. Perfect for a business dinner meeting a potential client for the first time. Thoughtful, dependable and delicious!
