Island Cuisine - Hartford

I ordered a beef patty here, but the woman quickly packed it before I could take a good look. When I got home and opened it, I found that the patty was deflated—there was almost entirely crust with just a spoonful of meat inside. I won't be buying their beef patties again.

The restaurant is clean, the staff is courteous, and the food is delicious. I just wish it were located somewhere else.

I ordered the medium curry chicken with white rice and plantain, and it was a five-star dish. The service was excellent today. I've been coming here for years, and the food is consistently delicious. Another dish I often get is the callaloo with food, and sometimes I also enjoy the fried fish.

I love this place! Awesome food. Not a budget restaurant.
