Melms Brewing Company - Hartland

Little hidden gem small brewery. The Melms Brewing company has an old history in Wisconsin. We enjoy looking at the old pictures and talking to one of the owners about the Melms of years past. The brewery is very enthusiastic about beer and has a nice variety of beer and seltzer's. I recommend a flight so you can try a couple of different offerings. Friendly staff Bring your growler/howler or buy one there and take some beer to go.

Neighborhood Brew Pub. Owner was tending bar. Great tasting beer, plus a fantastic seltzer, all brewed on site. Come for the flavor, stay for the fun!

I visited Melm's Brewing Co and Beer Bar on 5/06/22. I visit craft breweries as a hobby (and perhaps display my idiocy in the face of inflation at the time I write this review). Melm's is located close to Hwy 16 and across the street from a Sendik's location. Their entrance is in a strip mall I didn't catch it at first and had to turn around. Parking was adequate in the parking lot. Surprisingly, when you walk in you realize the establishment is in a lower level and you must take the stairs in front of you to go down into the taproom. The taproom itself is less spacious than I expected but seating appeared well organized. The bar itself was relatively small. The establishment itself was not busy when I arrived with one small family with a child one gentleman seated at the bar. I was greeted warmly by the bartender and picked a flight of 5. Unfortunately, I think there were only two beers one hard seltzer made by Melm's itself but there were several other outside local beers on tap. The price for the flight was about $10; normal to most other breweries. Brewery stickers were available for free to take on the bar. Guest Wi-Fi was stable and accessible by password. With the lack of their own brews basement type location, I probably wouldn't return, but service was friendly and would present as a great hangout for local patrons.

Nice, small brewery. Beers were good and bartender was very friendly.
