Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Hartselle

Dairy Queen in Hartselle is breaking hearts today! They shut the inside dining down due to short staffing.

8:45 PM pulling into the drive thru line, the lights go out and I’m told by someone on the speaker that they are closed. I tried to tell them I was in the line when they turned the lights off. All I got was “WE ARE CLOSED” The website states theyare open until 9:30 PM on Saturdays. They seem to close between 8-9 PM daily. Please update the times on your website or makesure you stay open until the real closing time.

I went to the drive through window ordered 4 simple items no special order request. A cheeseburger,chili dog ,fries and m&m blizzard. The young lady handed a bag out with the fries and hot dog. I told her the fries were old and cold and handed the bag back. I went inside because we were asked to pull up. Another lady then brought the bag back with hot old fries and hotdog that was old and no cheeseburger so I asked for my burger she apologized and brought a cheeseburger which was also old and not hot. The food here is terrible but the ice cream is good.

The service is good. It's a little slow but worth the wait in order to get your food not and the order correct
