China Doll - Harvey

I'm back, and this time I didn’t have to sit in my car! Four of us went out for lunch and we ordered the Boneless Chicken combo lunch and the Empress Chicken over noodles. The portions are HUGE! The chicken came with delicious shrimp fried rice and two Cho-Cho—fried triangle-shaped dumplings filled with a mixture of Chinese roast pork, shrimp, and green onions. The beef skewers were flavorful, tender, and juicy—absolutely fantastic! And the service was, as always, excellent. In the picture, I'm sitting in my car enjoying the boneless chicken: it was hot, fresh, and incredibly tender. I loved it!

The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. Natasha was an outstanding waitress!

I heard that China Doll has changed management. I usually order the Pork Fried Rice with extra green onions, extra pork, and eggs as a special request. I can't say the same for the Shrimp Fried Rice, which has no substitutions, but it's definitely worth it for me! It's absolutely delicious! Check out the image.

That's the best Chinese restaurant I've been in for a long time. My wife is Chinese and loves it. Sure, it's one of the best in the New Orleans area. Large portions, fresh seafood and vegetables, perfectly seasoned, and a great atmosphere for a wonderful lunch or dinner. Perfect Mai Tai also available.

I got the Mandarin Chicken lunch special that was soo crispy, so delicious and so plentiful that I has enough left to eat the next day and some. Always good food, Always good service. In my humble opinion, China Doll is the BEST Chinese food on the West Bank. I give China Doll my HIGHEST recommendation!
