Harvest On Hudson - Hastings-on-Hudson

Harvest on Hudson accommodates large crowds with pleasant, attentive service and good food. We appreciated the sommelier's wine recommendation, a substitute for my husband's initial wine order. The cheese pizza we shared as an appetizer was excellent. Caci e pepe pasta entree was a bit bland. The rare tuna entree was fibrous but had good flavor and tasty vegetable accompaniments.

Location is spectacular. They were a little busy and understaffed for a Monday because it was unseasonably warm out. Ran out of rose, ran out of Côte de Rhone, ran out of rabbit. Waiter was pushy about kitchen closing at the end of lunch and had kind off a bad attitude. The frittata was really good and covered with a beautiful salad. Tuna carpaccio was very good too.

I was pleasantly surprised how great this restaurant is. I have had many poor service issues lately with different restaurants, so I happy to be at this top notch eatery. The food and the service were quite nice and we had a very pleasant evening. I would definitely recommend coming back for an occasion or even for a wonderful night out with friends or family.
