Wok U Like - Hastings

Waited almost an hour and a half for delivery and when the food came the portions were really small compared to when I've ordered previously and not very nice. Also, the price they charged was over £5 to the prices on their menu. When I queried this i was told it was an old menu however they delivered it this week. Rip off.

We normally order from here 3 to 4 times a month with no problems. Today was totally different. They took 15 mins to answer phone,I put in an order and was told we are very busy is 90 minutes ok. Said yes as like their food. Well never again. Part of order missing and when I phoned to tell them was told it will be 2 hours. I said no and was offered a free portion of chips next time I ordered! My normal spicy food was soo cold and bland. Sorry but you have lost our custom, will be trying one in Queens Road tomorrow

You enter the place “hellooo, wok u like” brings a smile to my face every time. This takeaway is by far the best Chinese takeaway in the whole of Hastings and bexhill. The fact someone has claimed they over season their food and has given bad review because of it just shows how good it is and it’s not for beginners. Me and my dad are qualified fat people so we know what are talking about. My favourite is kungpo chicken and egg fried rice while my dad gets sweet and sour chicken balls and a portion of chips highly recommend both. The chow mien includes little or even no bean sprouts a testament to other takeaways in the area that makes them look, for lack of a better phase, **** poor as they all just fill up everything with bean sprouts and vegetables. You’ll never find this from wok u like if you ask for a dish with meat or fish that’s what you’ll get sweet and salty a fat persons dream. You know I genuinely feel bad for people who think this is a bad takeaway because they are left with the others and that’s not acceptable so if you have read a bad review I want you to think over-wise. I’ve ordered from here for years I tried others when they are shut for holidays and it left me questioning why I didn’t just walk around to the co op instead. My recommendation is you go pick it up yourself as they prefer you’d do that if you do them a favour they’ll do you one. All staff are friendly if you are, genuine people not blanketed by this country’s customer service bs. And for that I love them. As long as they are in business I’ll order from here. We decided to celebrate Christmas with a few beers and found this restaurant conveniently located next to the pub. We ordered a meal for two and found the food to be very good. We even had leftovers for breakfast the next day and ended up returning later in the week. Overall, it was a good Chinese restaurant.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight and will definitely order from them again. The food was delicious and the delivery was very fast and efficient.
