Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Gonzales

Amazing service, delicious food, and a lively ambiance! I visited on a Monday night in September, and I was surprised to find the place wasn't very busy at all. This struck me as odd, especially for a sports-themed bar and restaurant. With Monday Night Football, a lively college town, an impressive bar, and a fantastic drink menu—plus TVs everywhere, even in the restrooms—I expected it to be much more crowded. I also noticed that some tables and booths had keg taps for various domestic beers. However, since I was with a group of teenage girls, I only caught a quick glimpse of the bar as we entered and exited the restaurant.

The seafood and Cajun dishes here are outstanding and truly reflect the spirit of the bayou. If you like a touch of spice in your food, this is definitely the place for you. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I can't picture anything I wouldn't love. Thankfully, I don’t live in Hattiesburg, or I would find myself eating here three times a day!

The food was exceptional. We took a little time to make our decision on what to order, and if you're unsure about your choices, it can extend the wait. The staff were wonderful, and the dishes were extremely delicious. It's a great spot for a family meal!

I eagerly anticipate dining at this restaurant whenever I'm in town. The drinks and ambiance are outstanding! I enjoyed a Mad Mary, a Bloody Mary, and the Devils on Horseback appetizer. A special shoutout to their fantastic manager, Howard, and our wonderful server, Carly. You both are exceptional!

I dined at this restaurant today for the first time in a while, and it exceeded my expectations! I ordered a gouda turkey burger and pork tacos, customizing them by swapping out the mango salsa for cabbage. Everything was absolutely delightful! There wasn’t a single item on my plate that I didn’t enjoy. The service was outstanding as well; I highly recommend asking for Emma—she’s fantastic! The spinach wrap came with a delightful sweet vinaigrette that was bursting with flavor, and the mozzarella sticks were impressively large. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next visit! Today, I also tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich wrapped instead of in a bun, and it was delicious!
