Mama Sbarro's Restaurant - Hauppauge

Italian restaurant on a Saturday night that outside of one large group had really no other diners is concerning. Service was just OK. Had to wait quite a while to get the check and then a while for them to come back for credit card. Food was just OK. Lacked flavor. Not bad but not great and so many other Italian restaurants in the area so doubt I would return

At first seems like a basic Italian restaurant/pizza shoppe in a shopping center but it’s not! The food is great and the service is even better! We go back often bc Alexandra (Ali) is so welcoming and an amazing manager or server (not really sure of her role). She greets us by name and says start with the usual (remembered after our first visit makes great menu recommendations, we ya e tried MANY specials bc of her and tried menu items (delish) we may not have normally ordered. Love the baked clams and penne vodka. Nice spin on mozzarella sticks too. Love this place. Sit at a booth!

Warm and friendly neighborhood gem food very tasty very reasonably priced. Service very good

Great food and great prices. Love their sauce and love when they have a special of eggplant rollatini Florentine. Delicious

Did the trick for meeting a friend for lunch. Could hear conversation, service was great with no hustle to have us vacate
