Would have had a quick meal here , but had already eaten elsewhere.Thought the food options were very good, varied and not overly expensive.Coffee order took some time and was okay, without being anything outstanding.Should we go to another performance at the Capital we would probably choose here to have a light meal.
The café offered a standard range of good breakfast options. I opted for eggs on toast with a side order of bacon, a flat white and a cinnamon roll to follow. All were delicious. The total came to $17 The service was friendly and efficient.
This was a great find in our wandering, great breakfast (Nutella Pancakes, Bacon & Egg Roll and the fresh fruit) was amazing. And the coffee was one of the better ones we had in Sydney. They had a great selection of ready to go meals as well. This place was so good that we went back for breakfast the next day, and the lady remembered us from the day before, staff were great and the owners should be proud of them !
Ordered a vegetarian sandwich and found pieces of chicken inside it. The server was unapologetic and rude. Ordered a large coffee which was tasteless. Watch out for quality specially during happy hours.
While working near Central station, I found a small cafe with big smiles nestled into Campbell Street in the heart of 'ThaiTown'.Surrounded by fantastic eateries from around Asia I was looking for a quick breakfast before a meeting nearby. The busy cafe with office workers queuing was a good sign and so I joined the crowd who were grabbing their beverages and food on the run.Service was warm and welcoming and ordered a takeaway tea, bacon and egg wrap with a berry/muesli yogurt. Pricing was around what I had expected for Sydney and the portion size good.Food was delicious and they had a great range of fresh salads, sandwiches, cakes and made to order food on their menu, again reasonably priced. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating is available and I watched the world go by for 20mins.The staff really made the atmosphere with their banter with regular and new customers alike, laughing and smiling to all who came to the counter.Alcohol and wine is available and a flyer on the counter hinted they were opening for meals in the evening in May for a more traditional sit down restaurant experience. All in all if your anywhere near Campbell street then pop in for some great food at reasonable prices and a smile from the team at LaMitte Cafe
