Powell's On Round Lake - Hayward

If you're in the Hayward area, you must visit Powells on Round Lake! The view from the patio and restaurant is stunning, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is outstanding with generous portions at a reasonable price. We are definitely returning to try the Friday fish fry and prime rib. Service: 5 Location: 5

The waitress was slightly impolite towards our group and raised her voice at some of the younger staff members in our presence. I believe this behavior is unprofessional, especially with a full patio. However, the food was excellent.

The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area with a stunning view of the lake. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. It's a great place for families. The service was excellent. We had lunch there and the price per person was between $50 and $100. I recommend trying the Regular Gyro or the Turkey Burger.

We had a wonderful meal, and our waitress Olivia was very attentive. The staff was very engaging with all the customers. Service was quick, and the view of the lake was beautiful. My husband and I ate here tonight, 8/21/2023. We ordered chicken strips. My husband ate his and I began mine and it tasted strange. I cut into it and was still raw. When the waitress came over to ask about our food, I showed her the chicken strips and she whisked them away. She asked if we wanted something else. Not knowing what to do and still hungry we ordered cheese curds and a giant pretzel. The food arrived--the cheese curds were good, however the giant pretzel was burned on the bottom. I pointed this out to the waitress and she was dismissive. We were very dissatisfied and thought that our food should have been comped at the very least. We will not return.
