We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. We will definitely be returning! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

We ordered the following for dinner: - Appetizers: Calamari and Louisiana roll - Salad: Heirloom tomato and Gumbo - Entrees: Diver scallops and a 16oz Ribeye cooked medium - Drinks: Cabernet and Spring Branch Blossom Sandia The appetizers were definitely the highlight of the meal, but unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The Heirloom tomato salad was excessively sweet—I could barely finish a quarter of it due to the overwhelming amount of balsamic vinegar. It desperately needed something to balance out the sweetness. The Gumbo, which was off-menu, consisted of only chicken and large chunks of peppers, and the roux lacked any depth of flavor. It was mostly just rice. My scallops, which were also off-menu, were peppered on the outside and served with mushrooms and saffron couscous. The saffron was overwhelmingly strong, making it nearly inedible after just one bite. The mushrooms were burnt and unfit to eat, and the pepper crust on the scallops was charred as well. I had to scrape off the exterior to enjoy the scallops, which were otherwise cooked well. My husband ordered a medium ribeye, accompanied by lobster grits and peppercorn green sauce. Unfortunately, the ribeye came out medium rare, which was disappointing considering the hefty price tag of $56. On a positive note, he enjoyed the grits and sauce. By the time dessert was offered, we were both so full and dissatisfied with our meal that we chose to decline. Our waiter didn't seem pleased with our decision and commented, “I thought you were celebrating,” before walking away annoyed. It felt like our $350 meal wasn't appreciated. He also seemed irked that we opted for individual glasses of wine instead of a bottle. Being seated so close to the waiter station meant my husband was bumped at least seven times throughout the evening. Overall, considering the price, we expected an exceptional dining experience—something akin to Gordon Ramsay's standards. Unfortunately, it was disappointing and not worth the money spent. Additionally, I noticed that all the waitstaff were male, with only the hostess being female. I found that observation interesting, though I’m not sure if it was just a coincidence on the night we visited.

Their menu boasts an impressive array of dishes that are sure to please any palate. I highly recommend the Warm Double Chocolate Fondant and the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert – both are simply divine. For entrees, don't miss the Cumin Dusted Australian Rack of Lamb, Barolo Braised Short Rib, and the Risotto, all of which are bursting with flavor. The service is exceptional, with attentive staff who truly enhance the overall experience. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning; it’s cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing dinner. As for parking, there’s plenty available, with options for a free parking lot or valet service. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely return.

We had an exceptional experience at this restaurant while hosting a business meeting with nine people. It was clear that considerable effort has been invested into creating a remarkable dining experience. From the attentive staff who made us feel welcome to the exquisite presentation and flavor of the dishes, everything exceeded our expectations. I also had the pleasure of meeting the 86-year-old owner, who personally decorates the dining area, ensuring that his 30+ years of dedication to providing an outstanding atmosphere shines through. He is such a kind and gentle man. The prices reflect the quality of the experience, and any food lover will leave feeling fully satisfied with the food, ambiance, and value. We will definitely return!
