This is a wonderful family-run restaurant near heidelberg. when they are with the car in heidelberg, they take time to drive to this place. this is one of the best restaurants in the entire region of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. they will enjoy eating and it is a must to have fish there, as there is a small lake close to and the fish is absolutely fresh and the taste is incredible. I am 2-3 times a year in Germany and I am sure that this place is one of the really best restaurants. please do not go to these stupid tourist places in the heart of heidelberg - just drive about 20-30 minutes and you get the best food and service!

Very good German cuisine. Always fresh and delicious. The Hirschgulasch is highly recommended. Sweet butter. The Spätzle are made themselves and also very tasty
