Betty's Country Store - Helen

Great business. It has a deli, meat department with seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables. Like a regular grocery store. Plus a wide selection of wine and beer. You can sit outside on the veranda and drink your wine and beer. We had fun looking around.

Love this place. Absolutely is a 1 stop shop. We were there 2 of our three day weekend. Sat at the bar, tried a new beer..Thank you Paige We came for food for the Georgia game. My husband had asked about their rotisserie chicken cooking and if the sold them whole. We went and looked around some and went to have a beer. The nicest young lady came and found us and asked if we still wanted a chicken!! I mean you have to get the chicken then, when they find you holding a freshly cooked chicken!!!, And it was so good. We bought a couple of hats as well, and we got to pay for everything on our beer tab...YAY!!! Everyone is so nice and I cannot wait to go back. On my have to go places in Helen

This is a great store! Lots of fresh fruits, veggies and meats as well as groceries and bakery goods. We stop in every time we are in Helen!

Can't miss store for huge variety. Eat fresh made sandwiches or grocery shop. Gifts too.

This store is definitely a place to visit. It's decor throughout its authentic, vintage items which is so awesome!! They have a bar that isn't hard on the pocket and who doesn't like to drink and shop?! They have a deli as well but we weren't impressed with our selection of sandwiches. Outside of that, it's such a unique spot to stop at!!!
