Lucca's - Helena

Very rarely will I admit when I eat at the place n say these guys do it better than we do. Lucca's in Helena Montana has earned my respect and it was an honor to feed here. They use a local bakery for bread (baked daily) for their dinner. Salad Dressing was a Watermelón Balsamico Essigester Dressing made fresh, Soooo goood. These little tomato grapes bruschetta bite things that had so much taste. For mothers seafood dish cooked with amazing aromas to perfection, and my steak with roasted vegetables n shrimps with a cream sauce that had a beautiful spice to it. The most important ingredients are pride, passion, n teamwork that is obvious in food. A must try in my book. I rarely give 5 stars, but Lucca 's has earned the 5 stars easily. Thank you to the boss and his team for a great unforgettable evening with my mother for dinner. I didn't tip the kitchen staff n am a very hard person to earn a tip from time, but I had to give every tip. I'm back.

Restaurant is located in a old part of city. Good location and restaurant atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Service was excellent and friendly. We did like food and my favorite was salad ??. I wish cook ??? cover his or their heads ??? when they cook meals ?

Second time coming here and I'm so impressed. You get a delicious salad and a load of bread with two sauces before the main course. I got the rosemary garlic chicken and it was SO flavorful. Will be coming back.

What an excellent spot to pick on our way through Helena yesterday evening! As you can see from the pictures, the food was amazing, and although I didn't picture the old world decor it was fabulous as well. This place gave me the classic, friendly, relaxed vibe with a not overbearing but welcome class that I always seek in Montana for a night out. For drinks we had Lucca's fizz and Bauna Sola, as well as a glass each of the Gramercy Syrah. Appetizer was Deviled Crab Stuffed Cherry Poppers, and Entrées were a perfectly cooked walleye with pasta and Pan Seared Scallops and Shrimp with Angel hair pasta in a white cream sauce. My experience the whole way through was amazing, and everything was done with the perfect touch of class. I definitely recommend this place as a hidden gem, and was told as much by all of the people around me who said it is their favorite place to eat in Helena, MT. I love it when I get lucky on my choice, and this dinner and hot springs date up the road at Broadwater Hot Springs was absolutely perfect ????

Why advertise takeout if it's not available? Have tried to order three weeks in a row and the answer is always NO, we can't do takeout tonight; even when ordered right at 5pm??? Unbelievalble.
