Hometown Roots - Henderson

We enjoyed Roots and had good service. The chicken, catfish and hot browns were well received. However, the fried shepherds pie I had was subpar all crust and potatoes, very little beef and vegetables like 2 tablespoons! . Also, the cocktails were good but a bit pricey $12 . Two of us enjoyed the brown ale so we'll stick to beer next time.

This was our first visit to hometown for Sunday brunch. A short menu, but everything was delicious and presentation really helped make the food. They also offer a full bar with a delicious **** Mary.Food: 5/5

The food was EXCELLENT! I was happy with everything at our table. Portions were just right, so you'll have room for desert! Do it! It's all so good.They dont take reservations. We were seated quickly. There were 4 of us. It was crazy crowded, so that definitely affected the service, but they were trying very hard. We will go back.

Quick seating at 5pm but pretty full soon after (Wednesday night)! Local beers on tap is nice. Specials are a pop-up rotating list that run about a week or so and a good selection of options on the regular menu. Server attentive and helpful on questions. Definitely will return.Food: 5/5

Awesome dining experience. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server. Who actually took the time to introduce themselves. The appetizers came out quickly and the main course came out at just the right time. The food was great. The chicken fried steak is enough for two people. My wife had the meatloaf. We both loved our meals. We had the banana pudding for dessert to top it off. We will be back.
