We haven't been here since we moved in 2017. Today on the way to Virginia Beach from Indianapolis, IN we stopped for dinner and adult drinks. Italian Margaritas, Bruschetta, Lasagna and baked Ziti all ingenious it was the 600 miles LOL. This small Italian restaurant is worth stopping when you? in the area. The service was excellent, like all employees.

Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all. Honestly, everything tasted like I tried to cook it at home (it just lacked everything?something? . The interior is very sweet.

With a friend I had spaghetti with meat sauce, she has lasagna. Both dishes were served quickly, our orders were right, the food was hot fresh, very good! Carini is ideal for meals with family and friends, celebrations special events, or just catch up. We both took pizzas for our family home, the pizza was so good!

We've celebrated countless Birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions here, as it's been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid. I've yet to find a dish that wasn't delectable, with each one being plentiful and endlessly appetizing. My favorite probably being just the good ol' Spaghetti and Meatballs. SIMPLE? Yes. SIMPLY AMAZING! The staff are always friendly, attentive and accommodating. Maria (manager) is very personable and always makes us feel right at home and in good hands. Whether it's pickup, a romantic dinner for two or a family reunion in the banquet room (and air hockey tournament afterwards) they got ya covered. I've always said that if I were to ever open my own restaurant, I would strive to be like Carini's.
